Citrine is the birthstone of November, along with Topaz. It is a beautiful, transparent quartz with yellow-orange hues. The name comes from the French word, Citron, which translates to lemon. Citrine is found in many different shades that can range from golden yellow to honey, and even light brown. It can even be found growing naturally in Amethyst, a stone that is respectively called “Ametrine”.

Citrine is often associated with the Solar Plexus Chakra. The Solar Plexus is located between the rib cage and navel, which controls the immune and digestive sysem. Thus, this stone is great for absorbing good nutrients and fighing infections. It is also believed to reduce self destructive behavior, and is an excellent crystal for overcoming depression.
